I gained my Foundation licence in August 2024 through self-study. I use the Xiegu G90, and the Radtel RT-880 for 2m & 70cm Tx and HF & airband Rx and the AnyTone D878UV II Plus for 2m, 70cm & DMR.

For my home antenna, I use a 49:1 end-fed long wire that covers 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters, purchased from UK Antennas. Also, I have a homebrew dual-band half-wave flower pot antenna for 2m and 70cm, designed by vk2zoi currently lofted in a tree in the garden. When mobile, I use a SG-M507 with my handhelds. I have also set up an MMDVM Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Pi-Star.
